The interiors of the flats are beautifully designed and decorated. Laycock Studios offers a communal courtyard, ideal for enjoying the warm weather away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The flat offers a free residents-only gym and weights room, suitable for keeping fit.

If you want culture, you can go to Winter Gardens, which is 0.6km from the flat. For some exercise, go to Ponds Forge International Leisure Centre, which is 0.8km from the flat, and for some food, you can go to St Paul's Place, Leopold Square, and Ecclesall Road. Ecclesall Road has some excellent food. Want a different kind of nightlife? Head to The Leadmill, Plug, and O2 Academy, with The Leadmill being the closest to the flat.

Laycock Studios are brand new built student flats in Sheffield city centre, just off Sheffield's train station. You can get to Sheffield Hallam University in a 3-minute walk if you want to go there. Of course, you can walk to Sheffield University in 9 minutes. You can go to the city centre in 12 minutes walk from the flat.
